Love Locks...

I talked about the love padlocks a couple of times. I'm super in love with this idea. While creeping on wedding blogs (this is a daily thing for me... I'm obesssed with wedding ideas, even though I'm not engaged or married), I found this treasure:

Five Things for March

This month I want to do the following 5 things...

1. Since I love Peeps so much and since Martha Stewart has a recipe in this months Living magazine, I want to make my own marshmallow critters...

2. Lately I have been obsessed with India and Bollywood films. Every year I see my friends out in Utah go to this festival where they come out covered in multicolored dust. This year, I want to do that.... So, I want to go to Holi in Utah (Holi is the festival of Colors, celebrated in India as the change of seasons)...

3. I want to finish Ben's scrapbook for his mother. I have been creating a scrapbook with all of her pictures of him growing up. It has urned into quite the task :) Here is one of my favorite pictures of little baby King Benjamin...

4. Pastel Macaroons have been all the rage this year, especially on the wedding forefront. They look non-threatening and easy enough, so in honor of Spring being the season of pastels, I want to make my own little batch....

5. Start toning my body again. I failed miserably with the gym goal. I was so good throughout January, but then mid-February I quit cold turkey from the gym. In the past three weeks, I have completely reversed my weight-loss. I need to go back......

I'm Dreaming Of

The fantastic beach lifestyle of the 50s and 60s... Right now, I've been obsessing over the beach. I bought a few new bathing suits and have been planning a beach trip for once a week for the past month. Every time I bask in the sun, I kind of wish I was doing it like these pictures depict. I guess, to me at least, these pictures remind me of how simple life can be, but we make it more complicated... The beach is where I tend to forget life for a bit.

Ben didn't get to come with me these last few beach days. Honestly, I don't know how fun it would be for him to come to the beach with me. All I have been wanting to do when I get there is sleep. I fall asleep on the beach, but I tend to miss him most when I'm there. I think its the whole, "I'm here relaxing while he's slaving away doing something else," thing. Basically, I love the beach and I could love it more if Ben were there with me :)
