...All Things Bright and Beautiful...

A couple of days ago I got a letter from Weston, or should I say Elder Liljenquist... He's serving in Montana... I was having a really crummy day and coming home to that made my day, plus he put some awesome pictures in it... The pictures immediately made me think of the primary song, "All Things Bright and Beautiful," because these pictures are just breath-taking... I mean I think he took them, but either way the just reminded me of the beauty that we have surrounding us and that it is all a gift from our Savior and our Heavenly Father...
The song goes: All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. Each little flow’r that opens,Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. The purple-headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset and the morning That brighten up the sky. The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them ev’ry one. The tall trees in the greenwood, The meadows where we play, The rushes by the water We gather ev’ry day.

I know Christ created this earth, not only as the home for us as we go through our trials and gain a body, but so that we may also enjoy our time here and find joy within His creations... I know that I feel closer to my Heavenly Father as I look upon these creations and I also grow closer to my Savior knowing that He creatd these things for me as a way to help me make it through this life... I love this beautiful place that I am blessed to grow and live on... The Lord has made them all...
